Notability[edit]

Middleton died on September 17, 1737... and at that time he owned 107 slaves.

These slave-tallies always sound to me like penalty-points inserted by a diversity editor. What is the actual notability of this statement? Valetude (talk) 17:02, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
