October 2021[edit]

Deadline Hollywood confirmed today that filming had begun. According to them, the cast consists of Anthony Hopkins, Jeremy Strong, Anne Hathaway, and newcomers Banks Repeta, Jaylin Webb, and Ryan Sell. There is no mention of the rest of the cast, which was announced back in June 2020. This may mean that some of the original actors have dropped out of the project, resulting in the spread of false information to readers. But we don’t know that completely, for the sake of brevity they may have just kept it to just Hathaway. Blanchett’s participation was discussed in particular by Gray. Once we have a more clear source stating the large bulk of the cast have exited then we can take them out, but as it stands they’re still reliably sourced. I know it would fall under WP:SYNTH, but not mentioning Robert De Niro, or Oscar Isaac (who recently had The Card Counter released), should be an indicator that some cast members are no longer starring. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 21:46, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
