Fair use rationale for Image:1140354406vlcsnap-11808110.jpg[edit]

Image:1140354406vlcsnap-11808110.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Adrienne Barriere[edit]

Who is Adrienne Barriere and why is she listed as having played Anne? Geneviève Bujold played Anne, and was nominated for an Oscar for her role. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.97.92.138 (talk) 17:41, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Historical accuracy section[edit]

This entire section does not hold up to standards.

The first paragraph is incomprehensible: phrases such as "has long been rumored", "some writers ... question.", "While others ... argue" leave the whole text crippled. References to sources are in this section, but what exactly those sources state is unclear.

The second paragraph is true-ish, but her birth is stated as ~1500 at Anne Boleyn, making her ~27 in 1527.

The third paragraph simply needs sources.

The fourth paragraph needs sources, and shouldn't claim that Henry and Anne met "for the last time" on any given occasion, since that is not provable or supportable with any sources.

Overall this section should talk about historical inaccuracies rather than accuracies, and so the fifth paragraph is unnecessary. EAE (Holla!) 09:01, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Irene Papas[edit]

One thing about Catherine of Aragon's appearance they did get right was depicting her as a short woman. However Irene Papas's biography says that she was a tall woman, 5 feet 10 inches. So did they use camera tricks to apparently reduce her height? PatGallacher (talk) 23:44, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
