Faroese stamps depicting prominent women[edit]

This article states:

Aside from Ruth Smith's self-portrait, this is the only Faroese postage stamp depicting prominent women.

This is however obviously not the case as you can see from the following examples:

Margrethe II,
Queen (stamp from 1997)

Scene from the movie Barbara (stamp from 1997)

Mary & Frederik (stamp from 2004)

Queen Margrethe (stamp from 2012)
