Her name[edit]

For some obscure reason, the claim has been made that her name is a reference to the "Domino Sugar Company". Her name is clearly a Spoonerism for Anno Domini. K8 fan 20:24, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You obviously don't know what a Spoonerism is. Try following your own link! I've removed the remark. 124.176.78.82 (talk) 13:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Read it yourself. Look at the examples quoted in the article. Anna=Anno, Domino=Domini. If you disagree that it is a Spoonerism, what term is more accurate? And please consider registering. K8 fan (talk) 20:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A spoonful of Domino sugar is sometimes sorely missed. Kiss and make up now, sweeties.

Some sources[edit]

If anyone else is interested in adding, this is a recent source (from 2020):

"Arrived in NY in 1977 and never left"[edit]

This is contradicted by the fact that in the early 80s she lived in Belgium, and scored a hit there as singer on Luc van Acker's "Zanna" (easily some of her best work; I may be biased).86.18.215.73 (talk) 12:38, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
