Relation to Manuel[edit]

Wouldn't he be Manuel's cousin, not his nephew? Adam Bishop (talk) 00:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, since he was the son of Manuel's sister, Anna. Cheers, Constantine 07:22, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I misread it. Thanks. Adam Bishop (talk) 08:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to reference[edit]

I removed the Harris reference and replaced with Finlay as there isn't a Harris book in the reflist - and I couldn't be certain which book was being referred to (the one on Constantinople in 1200?). Please feel free to change it back if you can supply the book details. Urselius (talk) 17:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

The article mentioned a death of "ca. 1195" Is there a source on this? Because all other languages (I checked de-WP, it-WP, pt-WP and fr-WP) note that the last mention of his person were the events 1182/83, his death is simply assumed because everyone dies sooner or later. Which means he could also have died "ca 1185" or "ca. 1205" with the same accuracy. I'm changing those dates in the article; revert if you got sources. --Enyavar (talk) 10:22, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
