Forename[edit]

The awarded was gazetted to Arthur Fitzgibbon "No. 22538". The London Gazette. 13 August 1861. {{cite magazine}}: Check date values in: |date= (help), so why do we have his name as Andrew? There are occassional mistakes Neville Howse was gazetted as N R House, but in that case the Victoria Cross registers held by The National Archives do contain a hand-written correction, but there isn't anything for Fitzgibbon.
