Dumb question[edit]

I see the sentence "Booth married computer engineer Kathleen H. V. Britten; during 1947–1953 they produced three computing machines together." It's pretty cute and all, but really, is that just a joke referring to their children they had together, or did they literally put together three computers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beeflobill (talkcontribs) 19:59, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Drum memory[edit]

The article says that Booth "led the early development of the magnetic drum memory". But there is no source cited for that. Wikipedia's own article on drum memory does not mention Booth, but instead mentions a German inventor over a decade earlier. For that matter, Booth's 1948 paper "Principles and progress in the construction of high-speed digital computers" discusses his ARC computer, but it makes no mention of that having been the place where early drum memory work was done.
