On The level of concen about the population of this species

Singing surveys have continuously reported declines. Season and Bag limits for woodcock hunting have been shortened and reduced.

Flying speed[edit]

Given that the commonest repeated fact about American Woodcocks seems to be that they are the slowest flying of all birds, shouldn't something be said about whether this is true or false somewhere in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.205.223 (talk) 03:34, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
