Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on October 20, 2007.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that though Alfred Balfour was a British MP for 14 years, he made only a single speech in the House of Commons?

GA review[edit]

In general this page is a solid biography of what I take is an obscure person with few sources to turn to for information. However, it could do with a quick copy edit, as there are several instances of sentences strung together with add-on clauses that make them hard to follow and other issues. Also, is there no image that could be added to the article, even of the House of Commons itself? Awadewit | talk 00:12, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am failing this article as nothing has been done in the last seven days. A day or two ago I left a message on the nominator's talk page as well. Awadewit | talk 10:34, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
