Alexandru Ioan Cuza (disambiguation) → Alexandru Cuza – The just-nominated Talk:A. C. Cuza#Requested move 13 December 2020 has highlighted the fact that the name Alexandru Cuza is, as of this writing, a redlink. There does exist, however, the Alexandru Ioan Cuza (disambiguation) page which could be easily moved, if consensus coalesces around such a proposal, to the shorter redlinked form "Alexandru Cuza", thus obviating the unnecessary parenthetical qualifier "(disambiguation)". Not everyone on the disambiguation page is named "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" and those searching for the statesman Alexandru Ioan Cuza can simply type the name and access his entry directly. Anyone simply typing "Alexandru Cuza" currently faces the unnecessary redlink. Oppose. Given the settlements are actually named Alexandru Ioan Cuza, not Alexandru Cuza. But agree with creating Alexandru Cuza, since A. C. Cuza shouldn't be an entry on this page. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:47, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose since the majority of entries are actually "Alexandru Ioan Cuza". I cleaned up the page and moved A. C. Cuza to See also. To where Alexandru Cuza should redirect is a good question: probably to Alexandru Ioan Cuza with a new hatnote to A. C. Cuza or it's moved title.
