Dates of birth and baptism[edit]

The date of birth was queried at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page/questions, and at first I changed the DoB in the article from 27.2.1843 to 29.2.1844 as that agreed with a number of sources, but then I looked at de:Al Sieber, and there it refers to parish records which ought to be a reliable source, so I have self-reverted my edit. Someone with more knowledge of the sources, or with direct access to those parish records, may wish to check. - David Biddulph (talk) 08:41, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Look here the Christeningrecord on 1th March 1843! born on 27 February 1843 !

right Page N° 5 (zoom>bottom) # 16 ! Albert Sieber - von Johannes (Father)!

1844 was a leap year Ok! But this year was not a second Albert Sieber born, or died a Albert where was born in 1843! You can see it already believe me. The tombstone in Globe is mislabeled with 1844 (= wrong!) also the *-date in Thrapp-book Chief of Scouts. --StromBer (talk) 10:29, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
