Global Viewpoints?[edit]

'The difference between Economy and First Class when travelling by rail is often not as much...'

In my opinion, this does not refect a global viewpoint, for example here in the UK what on here is described as 'Economy' is generally referred to as 'Standard' or 'Standard Class' - I'm unsure as to how it is known in the US or Asia, however. Would like opinions on a possible change. --79.66.61.40 (talk) 21:02, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the sentence "The differences between premium economy and economy are quite significant, but the cost is not greatly altered by purchasing a Premium Economy ticket" is opinionated. I would disagree completely - the benefits of premium economy are of little use and the ticket cost is significantly dearer. Can this be reworded somehow? 77.97.49.170 (talk) 17:35, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article in general lacks any substantial content. It provides a very crude read, suitable for maybe a 12 yr old doing a project. I vote for a substantial re-write!70.79.161.243 (talk) 05:29, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Commercial aviation[edit]

Both this article and Commercial aviation cover much of the same material if any future Wikipedians are interested. DHHornfeldt (talk) 19:39, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Editathon June 17[edit]

Just a heads-up that as part of an editathon I'm leading on June 17, new editors might be making some edits to this article. I'll be following up shortly afterwards to check for copyright compliance and other quality issues and will clean up stuff if needed.
