Multiple lawsuits[edit]

Hello! This is one of the first articles I am editing. Here's my question: There are multiple lawsuits associated with 'Aguinda v Texaco'. One in the US (1993), one in Ecuador (2003). There might be more but I am still researching. What should the style & cohesion & scope of this article be? Should it describe the history all of the lawsuits? What is generally the structure of lawsuit articles on Wikipedia? Charles Victorio (talk) 03:58, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Charles Victorio I was wondering this myself. Maybe the article should cover AvT and also the so-called 'progeny suits' in Ecuador and elsewhere (in which case it might need to be titled 'Lago Agrio oil field litigation' or something). Avatar317 has suggested just merging this article with the litigation section at Lago Agrio oil field. That might work if it didn't make a too-long section. In any case, I don't think we have a coherent presentation of all these lawsuits anywhere right now, so if you're still interested in this article, I think this is a great place to get all content about all the lawsuits organized and clearly presented wherever it ends up! I see you're still somewhat active, so I hope you'll help!Larataguera (talk) 12:58, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
