Cricket[edit]

I don't doubt for a single second that Adele has stated that she "loves cricket." What I cannot understand, is the insistence to add this information to the lead paragraph, without any direct indication of why this is of relevance to the lead. Please read WP:LEAD: "The lead serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important aspects." Not only is there indication of why her love of cricket is of relevance to the lead, her love of cricket is not mentioned in the main article. This sentence, therefore, is not an introduction to anything. Yes I can see how her love of cricket does counterpoint her feminist politics, but this is original research. If you could add that information to the article with a source it would be of great benefit and interest to the reader. As it stood in the lead it was the equivalent of finding a source that she loves orange juice; it was a random statement that made the lead look stupid.
