Counterargument[edit]

I added a section for this but there is really no information. For it to be unbiased, there should be something else here from a good source. If anyone wants to elaborate, that would be great. Cleanelephant (talk) 20:52, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this section kinda misses the point. Of course we can see things we don't know, but that's not what this theory is about. How is this different from Active Inference?[edit]

Active perception is the process of taking actions in the enviroment which increase the understanding of the environment. It has a specific usage in robotics where a robot moves a sensor around (such as a camera or gas sensor) to understand, for example, where a gas leak is coming from or where concentrations of algae in a lake are.
