Edited the page to take out the random Acid Mothers Temple Collective bands. This page is for Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. and its variants, not a discography page for Kawabata Makoto or the entire collective's various projects (such as Floating Flower, solo Makoto works, etc).

Where do they go, then? There's not page for the other stuff. Kawabata Makoto is even forwarded here. I think they should go back; at least some of them.--Jkdeadite 21:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I understand, but I think a Makoto dedicated page itself would be best, since he's so involved in so many things.

POV?[edit]

phenomenal live shows? too lazy to tag or edit to something better (its almost bedtime), just thought i'd throw my two cents in... 76.167.67.128 14:07, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

not quite so anymore, unfortunately, IMO. (I'm passing on this spring's US tour.) Maybe someday someone will search for concert reviews... Acwilson9 (talk) 21:28, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Acid Mothers Temple discography[edit]

Discography section is almost half of the length of the article, and should be split into its own page. Thoughts? --Jax 0677 (talk) 01:50, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see anything wrong with splitting out the discography. Even when that is done, the article will probably still have too much detail. The lists of former band members is a bit much, unless they are extremely well known. Wikipedia can perform a service by leaving things out. EdJohnston (talk) 03:41, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
agree, seems more than enough to have its own article. Dan56 (talk) 20:43, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
there are number of albums without their own pages, it is impossible to keep up with the band mind you. But I was thinking that if some of the albums aren't deemed to be important enough to have their own page, some could be grouped together. eg all the info for the 2019 releases can be all on a single page — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.216.15 (talk) 13:59, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
How about articles each dedicated to the albums released via a constant ie: Important Records releases on it's own page, Riot Season, EyeVybe, Bandcamp Friday's etc? This would be to house information regarding those releases. Including information for the albums not deemed to require their own individual page.
For the main discography, I suggest it gets split across multiple pages. Each page only for releases from a certain time period. Up the top, there could be links for each time period and below a link for the next time period. Plus a page just for Bandcamp Friday releases Simdude1990 (talk) 15:56, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removed members list[edit]

For past, AND NOW CURRENT, members, article now directs reader to member list. (The "current members" in the 2 articles were getting "out of synch" w/ each other (and out of hand), because of the very frequent line-up changes. The single "Current Members" list should be easier to maintain.) Acwilson9 (talk) 21:28, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

I am going to completely overhaul the discography page. It will not be complete when it is initially uploaded. I will do it bit by bit, with all of the original stuff saved in my sandbox, to deal with later.

Because the bands discography is abnormal to most bands, I believe that should reflect an abnormal discography layout on here. I will start with a section just for the notable studio albums. Then a section for the albums released via labels that put out multiple on, so some may be shown in both (unless it is better to put them in just one and slightly tweak the name of the section). There will be a link to a separate page that will house all releases in a sortable table. Simdude1990 (talk) 16:17, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So, this would be the first part, it still needs to be tweaked a bit, but this is the gist of it:
