Proposed re-write[edit]

Hi - I don't know whether anyone still has this page on their watchlist, but I am putting this here as a notification that I am planning to do a complete re-write of this article. Aberlour House is a Category A listed building with an interesting history (see Margaret Macpherson Grant for some background); it was at one time used as a school, but it has been the head office for Walkers Shortbread since 2004 (if I'm reading the sources correctly). That building should be the subject of the article at this heading; Gordonstoun may have a house named after this building (I haven't looked into that yet), and that could potentially be mentioned in an article, but the article at this title should describe the historically significant building. I'll start work on this in the next few days, please let me know if you have any concerns or if you would like to take part in the rewriting. cheers GirthSummit (blether) 21:21, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Just following up on this, I'm going to move this page to a new title to make way for the new article about the building; I'll include a link to this article from there. GirthSummit (blether) 12:11, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
