Stub[edit]

We can add more information once the album is released on 9/19/06. - Maria202 21:32, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know where the catagory 2000 came from on the article page. It didn't belong there. I removed the stub notice along with the incorrect catagory. Maria202 02:09, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Covers from outside the US[edit]

Why wouldn't a remake of a song that was not originally issued in the US not be considered a cover? The change that was reverted was atrociously written, but I think "These Open Arms" should still be considered a cover, since Clay was not the original singer. -- ArglebargleIV 15:42, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ArglebargleIV, all I can go by is that RCA said it is an original in their press release. Every where I've read it's called an original. "Invisible" was released in Europe before it was recorded by Aiken and it too was called an original. It's really not up to one editor to fly in the face of commonly accepted terminolgy and practice nor to negate official statements. A statement that the tune appeared as a bonus cut on an album released in Asia(?) but never released or heard in the US would be correct. If such a statement is added it should be in the body of the article, not in the header. It would need to have a citation and I don't remember where I read it. As for why songs like this are not considered covers I have no idea. I just know they are not. - Maria202 16:24, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's a good answer. Thanks. -- ArglebargleIV 16:38, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome. :) - Maria202 16:50, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Success[edit]

Maybe we should have a chart that shows the peak positions of his album and singles in the different charts considering there are no seperate pages for his singles which show the songs success.
