Education[edit]

The potted biog in the Pelican edition of Geology and Scenery in England and Wales states that Trueman studied at University College Nottingham, not UCL. There may be confusion since at this time he would have received University of London degrees from Nottingham. Also refs to H.H.Swinnerton say he (Swinnerton) was professor at Nottingham.
