List of other awards and awards ceremonies in the "See also" section

Do we really need all of these awards? Why not list just the "big" / major awards? Better yet: Do we have -- or can someone create -- one of those "template boxes" at the bottom of the page? Similar to the one that we now have, called "Academy Awards". That might be a good idea. It could list all of the relevant awards (for a particular year) in one place. Thoughts? Thanks. Joseph A. Border for lead image

@Hddty.: The poster for the 91st Academy Awards has a white background, and therefore it would be hard for most people to distinguish where the poster ends and the infobox begins. A border would resolve this. The page you linked to in your edit summary illustrates how a image white background would be hard to distinguish from Wikipedia's own white backgrounds, using the Flag of Japan as an example, and how a border would resolve it by clearly marking the outside of the image to distinguish between the two white plains of the image and Wikipedia's background. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 21:44, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

Best Director

The nominations should be listed alphabetically by director's name, not by film title. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 15:10, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

@Joseph A. Spadaro: The nominees are simply listed in the order that the Academy themselves list them (Source). – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 02:46, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Not only that final voting has not even started Snarls200 (talk) 07:37, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

I just finished editing the nominees for this exact reason. seems like someone did a copy paste of 2018 and just changed the titles and names around RoboBongoCuckooCop (talk)

some need articles

for example-i want to make one for Patrick J. Don Vito who is a nominated editor, but I'm not sure how to. So someone else can. LuigiMan2424 (talk) 22:38, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

Gillian Welch and David Rawlings

I suppose that in the list of performers, individuals who perform together are listed in alphabetical order, but Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are always identified with her name first, as far as I know. --184.248.230.245 (talk) 16:19, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

In Memoriam section

Was Stanley Donen given any recognition in this segment? As he died only a day or so before the ceremony, he clearly couldn't be included in the video, but the last time this happened (where an individual died soon before the broadcast, but after the video had been "locked in") the presenter made a verbal reference. Was this done with Donen? 50.66.121.20 (talk) 04:57, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
