File:Logo247.gif Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Logo247.gif, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Requested move

The result of the move request was: not moved now. I created the redirect 24/7 Media (the generic term is 24/7 media, and isn't covered on Wikipedia), and it seems likely that it will become the common name, at which point this could be moved. -- JHunterJ (talk) 19:37, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

24/7 Real Media24/7 Media – 24/7 Real Media has recently rebranded to 24/7 Media and we'd like our Wikipedia page to reflect this. Our old website (www.247realmedia.com) shows this on the homepage, with a banner directing people to our new website (www.247media.com). Thank you. 247media (talk) 20:06, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Comment "24/7 Media" is also a generic term for current day news media that's always on, like CNN or Fox News. 70.49.124.225 (talk) 04:32, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Strong oppose. This is a change to the official name and irrelevant under article naming policy. There also appears to be an ambiguity problem with the proposed new name. Note also that proposer is blocked indefinitely (not by me) as a non-personal account, and that there are COI issues as well. Andrewa (talk) 13:52, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Oppose, per Andrewa. ENeville (talk) 14:30, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Name issues

The company name appears to be the subject of some confusion. The article is well referenced in this regard but the text does not accurately reflect the information in the references, partly at least due to global edits that rendered parts of the text nonsensical, particularly in the History section.

I've made a start on fixing this but there is more to do. Andrewa (talk) 14:08, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
