Number of qualifying countries for the world championship[edit]
The article currently claims that seven women's teams and Sweden will qualify. According to whom? The rules state quite clearly, "7 European Championship (including host)" I am going to remove the errant statement and invite a discussion for who the the 13th world's qualifier should be. 18abruce (talk) 13:06, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It seems apparent, from the listed rules, and the fact that there were not 5 pan continental representatives at the 2022 championships, that these championships should be qualifying 8 from both the men's and women's tournaments. The point total for the women's (44 to 40) is close anyway and this is the first time with this format so it is possible that the WCF has made some statement addressing it not being fair for the pan continentals.18abruce (talk) 13:39, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
