Consensus built up over previous seasons[edit]

In previous seasons we have developed consensus to redlink National 3 teams (as these will eventually gain pages). Please maintain this consensus when editing this page, or develop new consensus here.

Amount of Clubs in Each Region in Each Round[edit]

I increased the amount of clubs in three part of the starting rounds by region table. I don't know if you are excluding clubs who started and forfeited, but if you're doing that then the table should note that. If the list of games on one of the big pages where you have to click to show each section numbers a game, the clubs who would have played in it should be in the table even if the game wasn't played. Otherwise, there should be a bottom section for games that had clubs drawn against each other but were not played.

The table should be clear enough for me to know how many clubs played in each region in each round by doing arithmetic.

@EvanJ35: thanks for taking the time to look at this. Although there are 194 ties listed, three of these ties are replacements for ties that were removed from the draw because one of both teams were declared ineligible to enter (note: not withdrew, or forfeited). My notes from when I compiled the round one draw state: 191 original ties, 382 entries. 5 exclusions, 1 replacement. Net 378 entries, 189 ties. 188 winners to round two (one tie with both teams penalised). If you want to include this information as a footnote to the table that's fine, but as it stands the table is incorrect. Cheers, Gricehead (talk) 08:46, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

188 Winners to Round 2 from Paris IDF[edit]

You said 188 clubs advanced to Round 2 from Paris IDF. The table says 83 clubs started in Round 2, which adds to 271. There were 136 games with 272 clubs. Did a club from Round 1 other than those 188 get drawn in Round 2 and then get removed before playing? EvanJ35 (talk) 16:09, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And that is an error. There were 84 new entrants in Round 2 (13 tier 6, 17 tier 7, 19 tier 8, 35 tier 9) joining the 188 Round 1 qualifiers. I will update. Thanks for checking my data! Gricehead (talk) 18:18, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
