Clinching Scenarios[edit]

  • The winner of the match between Jordan and Uzbekistan will advance
  • In case of a draw:
    • Uzbekistan advances at 0–0
    • Jordan advances with draws of at least 2 goals (i.e. 2–2, 3–3, 4–4, etc.)
    • Extra time will be played if the score is 1–1. Any further draws will result in penalty kicks.

Display of team players[edit]

Why would we display such details (players, substitutions...) rather for these two matches in particular than for all other qualification matches? It doesn't make sense to me... Schnapper (talk) 23:30, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Same for me. I cannot see any significance for these matches compared to the other hundreds of qualification matches. The winner of this round don't even actually qualify for the World Cup, they just qualify for another play-off. Chanheigeorge (talk) 16:38, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
