What happened to the state qualifying for this tournament? Since even MLS clubs have to qualify to get into the tournament, the state and PDL qualifying information needs to be in there too. This is an encyclopedia, after all. JeffConn (talk) 03:30, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We will only include the USASA Regional tournaments once information about them is released, just as we did last year and the year before that. MLS, USL (USL-1, USL-2, and PDL), and USASA qualifying will be included, but the state by state USASA qualifying tournaments are simply too much. There is only limited information about these tournaments and there are simply too many to include and still do it well. -- Grant.Alpaugh 04:11, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why were the teams switched around? Traditionally the home side is featured on the left when showing the opposing teams. I know this is different in the United States but it is more appropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spartan008 (talkcontribs) 21:46, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The format in U.S. and Canadian soccer articles is Away-Home. -- Grant.Alpaugh 21:48, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For the qualification of the teams from the USASA, I think that only a bracket is necessary to display. Game details themselves would be a waste in my opinion based on importance. Just wanted to run that by anyone involved in this article. Spartan008 (talk) 14:01, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The goal is to put as much information as we can on here, while being consistent throughout. We have at least the information on where all games were played through USOpenCup.com, however we only have a few of the full stat lines for the game, which we can hopefully fill in at some point. But considering this is qualification for our national cup, the USASA qualifications deserve to have as much information as the MLS qualifying does. Mtndrums (talk) 09:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
