I think User:Timor Loro Sae was right in removing East Timor from the list: It is not Oceania that. --Tauʻolunga 23:04, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The appropriate place to discuss this is at Talk:Oceania, where you will find there already has been some consideration of the matter. Until there is a resolution there, this article will continue to include East Timor.-gadfium 23:35, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I still think it is ridiculous. Although you may have a point where biology is concerned (the Wallace line), it is not relevant for geology and for sure not politically. And where this article is 100% political, the cut off line should be in the middle of New Guinea, with everything east: Papua in Oceania and everything west: Irian in Asia. (I know this artificial line is ridiculous too, but it reflects current political situation, unfortunately).--Tauʻolunga 18:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
