History Section[edit]

It doesn't look right under the History section to have several one sentance paragraphs...besides the fact that that's not very proper writing. Chuck 02:55, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Opinion polls[edit]

Are there any polls relating to the Democratic Primary between Clinton and her challengers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.70.143.213 (talkcontribs)

Without bothering to look, I can confidentially say that if there are any polls, there were informal (i.e., non-scientific) done by one of the campaigns. But I really doubt that anyone would bother. Clinton is going to win overwhelmingly; what's the point of wasting money to estimate ahead of time how wide her margin is going to be. In general, you won't find polls about primary elections unless there is a very close race in a major state (then the newspapers will pay or a university will run a poll). That's not the case here. Hawkins/NPOV[edit]

I removed the list of Hawkins press releases and key issues section for NPOV. The key issues section particularly went into the realms of attacking Clinton. Chrism 14:59, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

left-right vs square[edit]

The page looks better with the candidates alternating their photos left and right. I don't know what gives Jasper the authority to impose his style preferences on to the rest of us. [06:45, September 21, 2006 Nleobold ]

Hey, I am in the middle of restructuring the page. Give me a little while. Left right does look pretty good. I just needed some space. Jasper23 06:52, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History Section Needs Cleanup[edit]

<capture of History section as of 06:51, September 21, 2006 by Jasper23>

I've restored and hopefully improved this history section. It still needs work, obviously, but the history of this election deserves to be represented. Wasted Time R (talk) 13:01, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Party List[edit]

Why isn't the conservative party of New York Shown here? The party has a line on the 2006 ballot. [16:43, October 30, 2006 140.90.192.39]

I've added discussion of them to the article. They originally didn't like Pirro, but did like Spencer and put him on their line. Wasted Time R (talk) 02:49, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:John Spencer (Politician).jpg[edit]

Image:John Spencer (Politician).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
