Re the addition of the first NOWSA (Network Of Women Students Australia) conference, which is partially my fault: I don't think this event fits in this sort of article at all; articles like this usually contain events that have received lots of sustained media coverage from *all* newspapers and TV stations ... the sort of things that would head a nightly news report, say. I don't think an academic conference about *any* topic qualifies here. While not directly related (or current), the points in Wikipedia:Recent years are relevant to this situation. I had a few articles about years on my watchlist for some time so I'm familiar with guidelines and expectations in this space. Graham87 08:26, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
