Elections prior to this[edit]

The Spanish regularly conducted elections for cabeza de barangay and gobernadorcillo well before 1895 and before the enactment of the Maura Law. Does anyone know when it started, and how frequent it is? From what I know the cabeza de barangay was elected annually. –H T D 03:59, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
