Formatting needs to be improved[edit]

More and more photos and charts/infoboxes have been added to this article over the last several years, giving it an increasingly cluttered look that makes it difficult to read, particularly for people with visual and/or cognitive impairments. The overly-wide, main Infobox at the upper righthand side of this article is particularly problematic because it encroaches on the text of the article's lede paragraphs, causing those paragraphs to be "sandwiched," which appears to be a violation of Wikipedia's Manual of Style/Accessibility standards which urge editors to "Avoid placing images on the left hand side as a consistent left hand margin makes reading easier" and "Avoid sandwiching text between two images or, unless absolutely necessary, using fixed image sizes." At this point, the main Infobox needs to be reduced in width in order to bring the article back into compliance with the MOS and make it more accessible for Wikipedia users with visual/cognitive impairments. - 47thPennVols (talk) 18:07, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how this is in any way sandwiching. Sandwiching is when text is straddled on the left and right by images, but here all the images in question are contained within the box and on the right-hand side. Standard practice for elections is to include in the infobox anyone who got >5% of the vote, so I don't see an obvious argument for removal. Cpotisch (talk) 05:09, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
