Explanation?[edit]

@Billposer: I added a table and link to a video example from a Vietnamese Catholic parish in San Jose. I don't have a source to establish that it's representative, but it's what I'm used to from visiting Vietnamese Catholic parishes across the U.S. This example is led by a choir, so they hit all the notes, but often the cantillation is led by a lay person who isn't vocally trained.
