Volleyball tournament[edit]

Yay, the Jules-Verne volleyball team won the first annual CSF Volleyball Tournament. École Gabrielle-Roy once said that "they're going to be 9 times reigning champions if the other schools don't stop being babies." Who's the baby now?

Anyways, we should write something about sporting in Jules-Verne.ManlyCoffee (talk) 23:04, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Enrollment and size[edit]

I removed the following:

"The school is the smallest high school in both size and enrollment in Vancouver."

There are absolutely no reference to this.ManlyCoffee (talk) 03:41, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Moved Second Paragraph of the Intro to a completely seperated section intitled "History"[edit]

The following paragraph was initially in the introduction part of the article. I decided that this is more suitable to be in history of the school.

"Originally, students and staff of the school used to attend Kitsilano Secondary School in a separate program, which was intended to have all of its subjects taught in french. However, parents of the students, along with the staff, felt that it was necessary for Kitsilano's francophone students to get an all french education in a separate school. Other reasons involved the impracticability for the teachers of having to borrow classrooms, and having to lug around all of their teaching materials from one class to another. Thus, the construction of École Secondaire Jules-Verne began in September of 2007, and students were able to attend the school on September 8th of the following year. However, the school was official open on April 4th, 2009."

Feel free to modify it to suit the article. ManlyCoffee (talk) 00:32, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Symbolism[edit]

The school's name, logo, and mascot are known to have a plethora of symbolism. Get them ASAP! ManlyCoffee (talk) 00:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here is one symbolism of the logo but written in french:

"Le logo de l'ecole secondaire Jules-Verne evoque la vision de notre ecole. Inspire des romans <needs completion> ManlyCoffee (talk) 02:28, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article absolutely needs an image for the sidebar. ManlyCoffee (talk) 00:53, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
