Saruq District (Persian: بخش ساروق) is in Arak County, Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saruq.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Saruq Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Saruq District, which was then divided into two rural districts.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 11,328 people in 3,427 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,491 inhabitants in 3,373 households.[2]
