Guidelines for adding articles[edit]
The first section (column) is reserved for leads of articles on the largest cities in the Bay Area after the Big 3 that are in the Top section. this section may be expanded or contracted to include more or fewer of the populous cities, but should always only contain leads from the same list of city articles, with no substitutions (ie if you want a list of the top 15, do that, if it seems too long, remove the lesss populous, otherwise the articles listed here are permanent. The top cities are: Fremont Santa Rosa Hayward Sunnyvale Concord Santa Clara Vallejo Berkeley Fairfield Richmond Antioch Daly City San Mateo Vacaville San Leandro Livermore Napa Redwood City Mountain View Alameda. i think some of them arent represented here yet. feel free to add them.
The second section (column) is for the leads of select articles on the Bay Area's smaller cities, ie smaller than the top 10 or so. quality should be at least C grade, cities can be of any size. the entire content may be replaced as appropriate, none are here permanently. Though, now that i have made both lists longer, I think these should probably stay, and maybe have 1 or 2 circulate. Maybe include major CDP's or unincorporated areas. right now, this list is closing on half of the cities in the Bay area!
I made up these guidelines entirely on my own (the portal was moribund for 4 years before i came along), and as no one owns any page on WP, feel free to violate these guidelines at any time and in any manner you feel appropriate.
