User:AlexNewArtBot - New Article Bot[edit]

Hi, I am in the trial runs of the User:AlexNewArtBot (see Wikipedia:Bots/Requests_for_approval/AlexNewArtBot). The bot reads all the new articles for a day and puts suspected Romania-related articles into User:AlexNewArtBot/RomaniaSearchResult, the articles are suppose to be manually put into the portal page and/or removed if irrelevant. Or whatever you want to do with them.

The list of rules are in User:AlexNewArtBot/Romania, there is also the log on the User:AlexNewArtBot/RomaniaLog explaining the rules that sent an article to the search results (the log is cleared every day, so try to look into the history of the log). Please contact me if you are interested in the fine tuning of the rules

That is all. Any suggestions are welcome. Alex Bakharev 22:40, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a very good idea to me. Just a little comment: unless I miss something, the only name of a person that triggers the bot is that of Ceauşescu. I know, I know, but this is rather sad. Maybe someone can suggest a few more names? Turgidson 23:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, just give me a list and I will add it (you can even edit the rules yourself, but only if you sure what you are doing). BTW all the names ended on escu would give 3 points towards the total goal of 14 per the rule 3 /escu\W/ (names added on escu in the lead will give six points, since the lead is doubled).
