Request for translation[edit]

The article about Königsberg Castle is in very poor shape. It would have been nice if someone who knows German translated stuff from German wiki. Thanks, Ghirla -трёп- 08:00, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll add it to Wikipedia:German-English translation requests for you. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 09:59, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New format[edit]

I have changed the format of this page, since the old one (now at Portal:Germany/New articles) didn't allow for discussion or the listing of stubs/images/other things. The new format is more like what other portals' announcement pages are like, see e.g. Portal:Poland/New article announcements for an example. Kusma (討論) 04:08, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know...?[edit]

Please nominate interesting facts from new articles (created in the last five days, referenced, no stubs) at Template talk:Did you know so they can be mentioned on the Main page. Kusma (討論) 19:49, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know that I mentioned a fact of Rheingau Musik Festival that will appear there tomorrow? - Different topic: I see new articles in the no-stub list that I would consider stubs, in comparison to the stub Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir. Who tells? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:40, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Gerda, congratulations for DYK!--Symposiarch (talk) 18:26, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! You could do the same, think of an interesting line on Mainz C., go on Main Page, below the DYKs click "nominate an article", find good explanation of criteria and procedure, possible up to 4 days after article was new, nomination on top of the day the article was created, templates provided, self-nomination encouraged! If you like we can discuss it on your talk. Good luck! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:11, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I like.--Symposiarch (talk) 18:49, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weltanschauung[edit]

See World_view. It seems to be relatet to German language and culture - but it is not part of this project! How can this be linked?? Habibie 23:24, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is is meant as a general question brought forward with an example. Habibie

Which sequence?[edit]

Hi.

I wanted to refer to a couple of (relatively) recent additions - namely, the page for the BBC documentary series Berlin, and the two covers shown on that page. However, are the links in question supposed to be listed based on the date they were initially created, or added to the top of the relevant lists as and when they are mentioned here? --Nerroth (talk) 05:02, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New articles, DYK Germany[edit]

I just added a few more non-stub articles. I wrote some more articles that are stubs at present but will hopefully grow. I feel the distinction is a bit difficult in such cases. - As for DYK, I entered several, same order as in the archive, newest one on top, to be seen better. I also started archiving right away together with entering into the display. If you agree that it saves time please change the wording, didn't want to do that without asking. - I entered the pictured DYK of someone else but failed to get the picture to be shown properly, both display and archive. Help, please. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:31, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
