Sherwood Park Freeway[edit]

@Hwy43: How would you feel about a new string "Shwd. Pk. Fwy" (has to be that short to fit) so that it can be used instead of the almost entirely unknown "Hwy 100" in the previous route field at the bottom of the Stoney Trail infobox per WP:UCRN? I already modded this template to include it for test fitting and it's not ideal, but better than Hwy 100 which I prefer not to see anywhere aside from on the SPF article. -- Acefitt 22:20, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the ping. I'm not familiar with modules. 117Avenue might be. AT's abbreviation for Sherwood Park Freeway, as evidenced by the progress charts and other AT publications, is S.P.F., though my personal preference is SPF as the periods are superfluous. @Happy5214: A few more characters are available which is why I was thinking Shwd Pk Fwy, but SPF works. The reason I did it like that was so that the Hwy 100 version of it could still be called without being subbed as SPF. If, as you say, the highway is never referred to as "Highway 100", I see no need to keep the default abbreviation. Feel free to change the abbreviation as Alberta road editors (I assume including yourself) see fit.
