Delete the page, there is no need to repeat the name of the tag on its content page and nothing else, cause it means just what you expect, "section blanking". Really, only experienced vandal-fighters who know this kind of stuff would watch out for this tag. <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 22:08, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Some Gadget Geek: If you think this page should be deleted then you will have to list it at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion and get consensus to do so. Sarah-Jane (talk) 12:33, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to do so but I am unable to put the {{mfd}} tag on this or the other interface pages in the MediaWiki namespace I would like to have deleted, namely:
information Note: These tags are one of the eight linked to from Wikipedia:Tags#Frequent tags that have content on them. The other four, namely MediaWiki:Tag-visualeditor, MediaWiki:Tag-mobile edit, MediaWiki:Tag-HHVM, and MediaWiki:Tag-mobile web edit, are all empty pages with no content, so why should these particular pages have what they have now? Are they really needed for them to function properly while this is not necessary for the four empty pages? <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 20:41, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: This would stop the tag from appearing in the page history and the watchlist, etc. See my comment at MediaWiki talk:Tag-repeating characters#Protected edit request on 22 December 2015. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 05:00, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
