Mazu (Persian: مازو), also Romanized as Māzū,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Mazu Rural District of Alvar-e Garmsiri District, Andimeshk County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 498 in 111 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 427 people in 117 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 416 people in 115 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
