Landman is an upcoming American drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan, based on the Boomtown podcast by Christian Wallace. It is set to premiere on Paramount+.
Synopsis[edit]
Landman is set within the world of oil rigs in West Texas, where "roughnecks and wildcat billionaires are fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics."[1]

- Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a crisis executive at an oil company.
- Ali Larter as Angela Norris, Tommy's ex-wife
- Michelle Randolph as Ainsley Norris, the strong-willed 17-year-old daughter of Tommy Norris
- Jacob Lofland as Copper Norris, son of Tommy Norris.
- Kayla Wallace as Rebecca Savage
- James Jordan as Dale Bradley, a petroleum engineer.
- Mark Collie as Sheriff Joeberg
- Paulina Chavez as Ariana, a woman whose family has been affected by a big misfortune.
- Demi Moore as Cami, wife to one of the most powerful oil men in Texas and a friend of Tommy Norris
- Jon Hamm as Monty Miller, a titan of the Texas oil industry who has a long personal and professional relationship with Tommy Norris
- Mustafa Speaks as Boss

Development[edit]
In February 2022, Paramount+ ordered a television series adaptation of Boomtown titled Landman from screenwriter Taylor Sheridan. Billy Bob Thornton stars in the series.[2][3]
In May 2023, Jacob Lofland, Ali Larter, and Michelle Randolph joined the series. [4]
In January 2024, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and joined the series as series regulars. [5]
On February 2024, it was reported that Jon Hamm joined the series.[6]
Filming[edit]
Filming started in and around Fort Worth, Texas in February 2024.[7]
