Kheyrabad (Persian: خيراباد), also Romanized as Kheyrābād and Khairābād,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Qahfarrokh Rural District[4] of the Central District of Farrokhshahr County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,076 in 283 households, when it was in Dastgerd Rural District of the former Kiar District of Shahrekord County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,122 people in 333 households,[7] by which time it was in the Central District of Kiar County.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 979 people in 301 households, when the village was in the newly established Qahfarrokh Rural District of Farrokhshahr District in Shahrekord County.[4] It was the only village in its rural district.[2]

In August 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Farrokhshahr County, which was divided into two districts and three rural districts, with Farrokh Shahr as its capital and only city.[9]
