Summary

Description
English: A lifesize male statue wearing a chiton and a himation draped over the left shoulder wound around the body and falling vertically down the left side of the back. He stands on his left leg while the right leg is bent. The left arm rests on the back, right arm is bent across the chest and covered by folds of himation. Short and curly hair. Deep-set eyes. Lips parted. The back is roughly worked. The sculpture is made of limestone ca. 325-50 B.C. Mersinaki. The Swedish Cyprus Expedition.
