Actually, this page should be deleted. Tropical cyclones (Tropical Storms, Hurricanes, Cyclones, and Typhoons) are only considered notable enough to have a unique article if they cause damage/deaths. Tropical Storm Nyatoh is in open ocean with 0 impact to any country. It is already listed on the 2021 Pacific typhoon season, but the typhoon is no where close to notable enough for an article about itself. Not even notable enough to be listed at Weather of 2021. @Elijahandskip and HurricaneEdgar: In accordance with WP:NMFD, notability explicitly does not apply to draft-space. In general drafts only need to be brought to mfd if tendentiously resubmitted following multiple rejections, or if tendentiously maintained in draftspace by periodic pointless edits over an extended period of time, in either case an afc reviewer will handle it.

As to this draft, either some content will be found suitable for merge elsewhere in which case this can be redirected, or 6 months from the last non-bot edit this will be automatically deleted per WP:G13, without needing to take up any community time in discussion.

Given that draftspace is noindexed, drafts can safely ignored until they are deleted. It's also worth remembering that mfds usually delay deletion since in the absence of a good DMFD reason to delete (as detailed above) they are invariably kept thus resetting the 6-month timer starting from the close of the mfd. Well that is extremely annoying. A version of this draft existed before this one and was speedy deleted after talk page discussions due to 1 author. Well, I guess this draft will exist for 6+ months... Elijahandskip (talk) 04:13, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Elijahandskip: I think it's important to remember that this draft is harmless, indeed it's noindexed and impossible to find for anyone that doesn't know exactly what they are looking for, and that draftspace is mostly nothing but junk, the vast majority of it of far inferior quality to this draft. Basically everything in draftspace is best ignored, indeed WP:Drafts are not checked for notability or sanity and WP:RAGPICKING is a complete waste of everyone's time. That's why we have WP:G13. On a semi-related note, I invite you to review WP:NOTCSD and WP:FIELD there's a fairly steep learning curve in tagging for speedy, and even experienced NPPers get it wrong every now and then, but a little bit of careful reading can significantly improve your accuracy in the future.
