Todo[edit]

I was iffy on this, but right now, I think this article should stay as it will likely be improved, but I want to see everyone's thoughts on this. Right now, however, the article is kinda bad no offense. For example, "Tropical Storm Helene formed from a wave that developed off the coast of Africa. " is a boring sentence. Also, why is their MH in the impact and why is their no preps/impact. Refs could use some work too. YE Pacific Hurricane 23:28, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The whole thing is poorly written but I think it should stay. It will hit Mexico and affect the United States. United States Man (talk) 03:15, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but the article needs work. The lead does not need to be sourced though. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

I understand that this is a land-impacting storm from 2012. However, there is very little impact found and this article is rather poorly-written. After a long search through both English and Spanish sources, I found not find really much else, other than watches and warnings from the TCR, which would only add a few more sentences, at most. It doesn't look like it would be too difficult fitting in Helene's section. Therefore, I propose that we merge this article into the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season.--12george1 (talk) 17:13, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support, given how little it did as a tropical cyclone. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 17:14, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that the consensus on IRC chat was that Helene would be merged. Therefore, I am going to proceed with that action.--12george1 (talk) 03:07, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
