There are numerous Wikipedia lists of fiction set in X city. If they qualify, how is one about Denver any different and not qualifiable? Kdammers (talk) 20:26, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Kdammers They presumably have sources that support notability. (Or, they don't, and no one has noticed yet.) Can you provide any specifics? -- asilvering (talk) 00:15, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the issue more broadly, there are many other categories that have lists without any attempt to have sources that support notability, e.g., https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_science_fiction_television_films in entertainment,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_types_of_tinea in medicine, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_French_monarchs in history. Kdammers (talk) 15:06, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
List of media set in San Diego has eighty-three sources. -- asilvering (talk) 23:39, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • So? So far, the Denver list is shorter; many of the entries have sources. Kdammers (talk) 00:37, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sources are the entire basis of notability. It is absolutely not an immaterial difference that the San Diego one has 83 sources and this one has effectively 2. -- asilvering (talk) 01:24, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
