Pike is in Olympia?[edit]

I've been to a Pike Brewery in Pike Place Market and never have seen one in Olympia. Is this perhaps some kind of corporate address instead of the location of the brewery? — Brianhe (talk) 03:51, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I just noticed. There's a few errors in the latest table. I did a left outer join between my table of breweries by license # and my other list of breweries with address, city, and geo coordinates. I have to re-check my data to make sure it's right before I put it up. Also I used http://excel2wiki.net/ and I think that introduced a misalignment error. The updated version should be good. I hope.

I'll make my raw data and intermediate workbooks available too. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 03:56, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

List inclusion[edit]

Looking lots better now. So your edit sum said that notable but defunct breweries could/would be added, but what about soon-to-be-opened ones like Chainline in Kirkland? Should they wait for their first WSLCB listing? Looks like they were just approved in mid January. [1]Brianhe (talk) 06:48, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Added the newly licensed microbreweries as a bulleted list. Maybe a table is better? — Brianhe (talk) 17:08, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
At the lists talk page, some were concerned this violated WP:NOTDIRECTORY, so I pared it down a little by removing breweries with 0 production. I'm not sure if that's good enough for them. So adding future breweries might be even more directory-like. I think it's OK, but lets see what the others say. Otherwise they'll revert the whole thing.

I think a bulleted list looks fine though. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 17:37, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the other conversation and seems to me adding new licenses fits the spirit of "ensur[ing] that the ones on the list: A. Exist, B: Are notable enough to be referenced in an independent publication" elucidated by another editor, and your idea of sourcing stuff to WSLCB. If you want to hold off adding the bulleted list, I can add it later in case of reversion. — Brianhe (talk) 18:10, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
