Purpose of page[edit]

For the moment, the main purpose of this page is to show the range and volume of authors, and to check that authors listed have some coverage of their Latin output on their pages. I will also add authors where I find them. Jim Killock (talk) 16:27, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Other list needed: non-fiction authors[edit]

Isaac Newton Isaacus Newtonus 1642–1726 English Q935

Wikidata and interlanguage links[edit]

Anyone passing by doing clean up: I note the lack of consensus regarding inter-language links based on Wikidata, but to be clear this is needed in this case to ensure that the names are linked to the right people with the right dates, and where no English article is available, that information can be found on other Wikis. Unlike many topics, this particular topic is both international in nature, and highly incomplete on the English Wikipedia, so more necessary than normal, hence justifiable even with consensus, as an exceptional situation.
