Hello @HM2021: Do you have reliable sources to support this addition? It appears that this movie will focus on new characters, and I haven't found anything confirming that Crichton will be credited. AJFU (talk) 17:30, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
At this stage, it's not possible for there to be sources for this, so we should just follow what the previous film does. It uses "Characters by by Michael Crichton". InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:42, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think we should have an unverifiable credit listed here merely on the basis of what the last film did. Dominion and others used that credit because they featured characters he created, but we don't know that that's the case here. I personally don't doubt that he'll be credited in some way. Maybe it will feature characters created by him. Or perhaps the "Based on" credit will go to his first Jurassic Park novel, or the second, or both. Wouldn't it be better to leave Crichton out for now, rather than make assumptions about whether and how he'll be credited? We can easily add the credit back in the infobox once there's confirmation.
