Hi... I created a "Talk:Hidayet Mosque Page", I didn't catch that it should be a "Draft Talk" page, and I'm not even sure that I know how to create a page like this one. In case the people who review my (small, first) article don't see my talk page, I am on copying/pasting here again. Thank you for sharing the links to the WikiProjects above, I will see how I can get involved with those. Iplusprinted (talk) 02:42, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I created this page because I read the information on this mosque on the Turkish wikipedia (https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidayet_Camii) and thought that this was an interesting enough landmark to include. Also, there is a mention of this mosque (with no link) in the list of notable works on the Alexander Vallaury page (so if this page is accepted, that can be updated to an internal link). I recognize that most of the sources I used are in Turkish, and most of the information I shared was from doing translation. There is one English-language source (other than the Vallaury page) that is written in poor English, so I thought this could be a better version of that. I have a couple pictures of the mosque of my own that I am happy to post (public use, no limitations), but one of the references is to a website with quite a few photos. I think this shows that there is enough interest in the existence of this historical site to warrant having an English wikipedia entry and perhaps some Ottoman-era historians (which I am not) might want to contribute as well. Thank you for your consideration. This is my first article and I enjoyed starting to learn how to create a wikipedia article.
